Jimi Cullen is a 21 year old singer songwriter from Gorey in Co.Wexford. In just over one year performing as a solo artist Jimi has more than made his mark on the Irish music sceneand has already amasses an impressive fan base both locally and nationally.

He has played some of Irelands top venues like the Templebar music centre, Isaac Butt and The Regal Lodge Where he supported Paddy Casey and then George Murphy.

Jimi's first release a self titled four track e.p. recieved good reviews in Hotpress from Jackie Hayden (the man who first signed u2) and in many local publications and online, as well as picking upairplay from South East radio and Beat 102/103. There were 250 copies printed ans they all sold within 3 months.

Jimi has also started his own singer songwriter sessions "The acoustic room" in Gorey witch has already played host to some of Ireland up and coming talent like Stephen Hill and Anthony Gibney.

Jimi's music breaks away from the usual bland subject matter and instead focus's an the more important issues like War, Religion, Refugee's and Hypocrisy to name but a few. His powerful voice and guitar paying have been praised by the likes of Jackie Hayden and Darren Byrne of the Wexford song club amongst others.

So as you can see in a relatively short period of time Jimi has gone from strenght to strenght and if you ask him he'll tell you he's only getting started
